{inspiration:service}

today i found the perfect bed frame for our mattress.
how should i go about telling this story.
you know how sometimes people are so kind to you,
it makes you speechless and just want to hug them and cry?!
the most familiar and random person (to some) had this effect on me today.
i can honestly say i knew Dave Ajiorgi for as long as i knew Brandon
(little over 8 years)/
i met Dave and Tina when i was in high school
because Brandon is best friend with their son, Andrew.
anyway, so i found this bed frame on Criaglist from Ikea that we need,
so we bought it.
nonetheless, how to get it to our place is another question.
the only person that always popped into mind is Dave.
'oh yeah, Dave has a truck!'
instead of calling Dave, i texted him, feeling awful that we (as in Brandon and I)
haven't kept in touch since we last spoke on 4th of July.
an hour later, he called and said he's on his way to get the frame.
i told him what's included with the frame and where they are in the garage, etc.
plus, i told Dave we wanted the nightstands as well,
but we haven't paid for it yet, so please tell the guy we'll wait on that.
our conversation ended from there...ten minutes later Dave called back.
'hey Kae! let us help you get the the the end tables.'
i told Dave NO. he's already done enough for us, trying hard to refuse his offer.
'no no no Kae. Tina and I want to do somehting nice for you.
we want to. let us help you!'
and there's me going 'NO Dave, it's fine. we don't need help. please don't do that!
'c'mon Kae. please let us do this for you guys'
okay, people taht knows Dave, you know he tend to win.
if he wants to help you, he made sure that it's done his way!
at this point, i was a little emotional. i gave up fighting with him
(though i'm sure we can go on battling for another good 10 minutes).
i told him 'yes' only because i was getting ready to cry a little.
wow, i really wish Dave is my dad. sad but true.
not only Dave went out of his way to help us pick up the frame,
he wants to do twice as that.
people like him is hard to fine.
we'll never forget yoru kindness Dave and Tina.
maybe 40 or 50 years from now (if i am lucky enough to live that long),
i might forget about those nightstands you bought us,
but the feelings that i felt today learning of your perfect example
of service will always be remembered and never to forget.
