[inspiration: shots]

another doctor appointment
for 18 months check up for Mae.
you know what that means...more shots!
i like it when they have 3 in 1 shot.
it's easier on Brandon and i...
and not to mention the ONE getting the shot.

per usual,
she cried when doctor's assistant walked in
she cried when she puts flouride in her mouth
she cried when she checks her temperature
she cried some more when the doctor walks in
she cried when she talks to her
she cried when she touches her belly
and ultimately, she cried during the shot.

as soon as we got her inside the car,
she was completely quiet.
a minute later, Brandon turned and found
her reading one of her little books titled,
'confidence'.

we guess it's good that she felt the need
to boost her confidence.
we really admire her for trying. ;)

[inpsiration: church]

lately i've been posting a lot about Mae.
this one is another about her. ;)
blog for me works like a memory storage.
i'll try and write as many sweet memories
i have of her as i can.

today during church,
Mae helped the missionary lead the opening hymn
for the Mien relief society to the song 'i am a child of God'.
it was so funny and cute to watch
(but no laughing because the mission president (Lewis)
and his wife were there)!
she stood right in front of everyone next to the missionary,
waved her right hand side to side
and sometime up and down,
as she pretended to sing along.

bOOks

new words Mae just learned today:
nOonOo (waves her index finger side to side and shake head)
woah (when she dropped her waffle this morning)
cookaaaa ('cookie' monster from sesame street)
and beag (big; she even shows you how big with open arms)
wow, i love her voice!

today i quoted a total of 12 books randomly.
i started out by reading each book from memory,
as soon as she recognizes the lines
she runs to her room and come back with the correct book!
wished Brandon recorded this.
really melts my heart how brilliant she is!!!

heading to the bookstore tomorrow
for a few new books.
it's time.

[inspiration: six flags]

just got here.
six flags looked the same
four years ago.
mae and Kailee posing for a quick pic.
(mae trying to figure out where
all the sounds/screaming are coming from)

in gospel term,
many are anxiously engaged
in a good cause,
but Mae is anxiously waiting
for the tiger show to start

don't let this photo fool you,
they argue often

three sisters having fun
while waiting for train ride

mae had to sit on her own
according to the rule...
got caught being brave

um, excuse me folks
please make some room for me
(while waiting for the shouka show,
mae only tried to squeezed through in between someone,
tapped the lady in white few times on the back,
pushed this boy really hard on the back,
and played peekaboo several times with his mom)

wow daddy,
look how high that whale can jump

highlight of my six flags trip
(including the front row medusa ride, the clapping walrus,
and a quick stop at the j. crew outlet)

they purposely tossed their animals on the ground
and then tried to comfort them after
by saying, 'sssh sssh ssssh'

it was unbelievablely hot yesterday.
as we were leaving was the perfect
time to arrive to the park.
long, fun day.
so pooped.

[inspiration: graduation]

easter was a blast.
 (Mae, please share your egg)
we were late to this easter egg hunt,
but cousins saved her a basket full of eggs!

second easter egg hunt
at grandma & grandpa fisher's.

two of my favorite people
in the whole world.

cousins.
missing the Habitat Fisher.
we miss ya'll!

Peyton asked,
'how does time fly?'
grandpa replied, 'it just does.'
.......
18 months sure flew by.
sometimes we wish time flys
(usually when we face challenges in our lives,
whether it helps us grow or make us miserable for a slight moment);
and sometimes we wish time stands still
(for all those special moments in our lives,
like spending time with our love ones or a special day like today).

we're all so proud of you!
keep up the hard work daddy bear. ;D

these girls love their UNC.

 thumbs up for life.
go daddy bear!

Xuo says, 'true friends, you only need one.'
I think she meant two
because I am Brandon's OTHER true friend. ;)

Oh, uncle Brent.

two little dolls.

(inspiration: certified)

daddy graduating school....checked.
that was one of our family goals.
i am so proud of Brandon finishing school
and passing his board exam
(many thanks to those who helped him
along the way, especially his mom).
if mae is old enough and understands more,
she would be proud of her dad, too.
we were just talking this morning
about how blessed we are, particularly
the fact that Brandon has a job offered
to him right of the bat.
it's true huney- having faith, working hard
and doing what's right really pays off!
we are so grateful.
now...
the celebration just can't
get here soon enough.

our 3 yr anniversary is next week,
but this stand up comedy starring kevin james
and ray ramano just can't wait.

it was one of the funnest night!
these two guys are soooooo
funny and amazingly talented.

ate at INK for the first time.
their marinated grilled beef and crispy shrimp wrap is so GOOD!
no pictures to proof how delicious it was;
it just won't do it justice.
