woke up  early and still have this pounding migraine

just on the right side of my head/face.

thank goodness for ibuprofen.

while laying on the couch unable to open my eyes, i heard

Brandon in the background quoting

a quote from Gladiator out loud

"what you do in this life echoes in eternity!"

i opened my eyes and he stood there

in front me holding his trophy proudly

(i'm just gonna go ahead and forget about
the part where

he moved his eyebrows up and down
with a smile,

you know,

like the one that Cam gave Brandon
when he was 50 feets ahead of him
on the way up mount ralston).

he holds it.

he kisses it.

i told him that's his new idol that he worships.

mae sharing his father's joy
aka
a trophy that he won from a golf tournament.

still needs his name to be engraved on it
