we had such a fun day at Paul & Cathy's.

families, food, swimming...
but right now,

it's fourth of July and

i'm feeling a glimpse of sadness.

i have just woken up from a nap.

not so great of a feeling knowing

it's 11:20pm and Mae had

missed out on the fireworks.

i wish i have not taken a nap.

i wish i wasn't so tired.

during the day...

and Mae is working on her power nap.

she wasn't afraid of the water,

but doesn't look like she's having fun either.

i had a second thought

if Mae is really Mae.

she looks so funny w/ that little

confused facial expression!
