one of the movies the missionaries show my family when we were new to the church was 'The Lamb of God'. i recall my tears were streaming down my face when it got to the part where the soldiers were mocking Jesus, beating him, and putting a thorned crown on his head. i cried because i couldn't understand why he was being treated the way he was. i kept thinking 'why isn't any one helping him?!' After that scene was over my little brother yelled out loud, 'Kae is crying!' I felt embarrassed for crying at the time so i ran to the bathroom...looked at the mirror and continued crying for another 10 minutes or so. over the years, as i learn more and more about the life of Jesus Christ, i began to understand that only through his atoning sacrifice men can be saved. that mercy and justice are bought with a price. that He's willing to die for someone like me. this Easter I want to remember the love that Jesus offers me.
Mae's first Easter.
(daddy forgot to put her pants on)
my name is Mae.
i am 4 1/2 months today
&
I AM super CRANKY!
yeah, she's holding the egg!
look mommy!
it's an early easter i know.
we celebrated early because the Habitat Fisher
will be moving to Utah soon.
there's a sad feeling inside (tears).
i felt like family gathering would not be the same without them.
it would not be the same if ANY of the family is missing.
but i guess this is part of life.
this is part of growing.
this is part of changes.
sometime changes are good.
