our little princess grew so much

since the last time we took her here.

it's amazing how time stands so still

while we grow older by the minute.

i can't foget this day,

this moment that we're together.

and in case mommy and daddy grew old one day,

and have aweful memories...

after being locked inside

for 5 days due to the weather,

mae is enjoying tricks on a nice

saturday morning.

my eyes caught this

 bundle of beauties

at the farmer's market.

i just had to take it home

and love them!

this girl was so excited

to spend valentines day with her parents

she does the 'ccccheese' face all night.

had chicken satay, hot and sour soup

(not brandon's kind of soup),

and grilled chicken.

light and yummy!

i didn't know they were

doing it together!

made it this time!

so happy and grateful

to spent my valentines day

with these two lovely people.

if you're sad, down, or depressed...
you can always count on this girl
to cheer you up.
all you  have to tell her is,
'say ccccheese'

mae was super amazing during

her 1st time at tricks gymnastic.

wow, this girl can play!

she's the youngest in her class (13M),

and the rest are 18M and older.

BUT she did very good

keeping up with others.

her favorite activity today

was the monkey bar

(now i really believe she's

a monkey at heart).

we decided to sign up for the classes

since she liked it so much.

i think it's good for her

to socialize with other children,

and most importantly,

to get a good workout...

10am on the way home from Tricks... 

(wasn't lying to you when i said,

'this girl can play!')

she's not quite sure what

to think of her parents.

yeah, we're very lucky

to have you, Mae.

once up on a time,

two happy parents took their

small child to the sacramento zoo.

this time around,

she can walk on her own

but she was not to be trusted.

sometime she likes to run wild

and she goes fast!

 the parents feared  they might lose their

small princess in a zoo...

that is why they put the

 magic leash on her.

this is an example

of what was just mentioned...

she likes to run wild.

(which sometimes isn't good for her

because she falls and hurt herslf)

she easily get distracted

by strangers she passes by.

sometimes she even paused to stare...

this little girl was very well-behaved

throughout the day.

she really seemed to enjoy 

the animals.

here is mae and her daddy. 

mom: 'mae, what does a lion say?'

mae: 'kaaaaaaa'

after the long two exhausted hour

of walking, mae and her dad took

a small afternoon snack break.

(munch munch!)

at the end of the day,

the small child was safe

(not abducted or injured).

she and her parents 

live happily ever after.

had Andrew...

took him and Mae to the park.

we had a little picnic together...

just the three of us inside the car.

my last week of watching him-

he's such a sweet boy!

later in the afternoon,

we had korean food with aunty Koy.

Mae was eating clear kim chi noodles,

after, we went shopping

@ CVS and haul some free stuffs.

daddy went to pick up Mae's crib.

finally! no more sleeping

sad to say but maximun weigh limit

is 100lbs!

guess no one told me about

yesterday morning i literally almost died.

at least i thought i was going to.

puking, getting chills, headaches,

feeling extremely weak, diarrhea

(ahem! let's not get into too much details here).

let's put it this way,

i was a FAT mess/miserable.

i texted brandon he needs

to take me to the e.r.
who knows...it couldve been
e-coli or salmonella poisoning
(thank goodness it wasn't!)

he came home right away and demanded

that i get a HOT shower, which i did.

that 15 minutes in the hot shower was amazing.

it was soooo relaxing.

ultimately, i think i was saved

by dayquil and some bed rest.

come to think about it,

i should seriously be charged

for child neglect...poor Mae.

she was in her pj/jumpsuit

all day walking around,
semi-hungry throughout the day,

and playing by herself

in and out of her room.

today was a better day.

my brothers came over to watch mae
while i rest.

then Koy came over with dinner
for everyone.

sigh...i love my siblings.

caught me off guards because

i thought i was hearing things)

who knows, maybe my dad needed

soon after she turned one,
she offically became a toddler to us.
(i honestly don't know what age is considered a toddler-
that's how clueless i am!)
anyway, she gets into EVERYTHING!!!
she has now earned herself a new nickname:
TINY TERROR
(given to her by her dad)

she's like,

'you've got to be kidding me?!

mae has grown so much.

she's learned how to sign'PLEASE'

(moves her hand up and down her chest)

and 'DaaDaa' whenever i hand/give her something.

she can give you kisses

(with her mouth open wide though):D

she can even blow kisses

if you're not down with

the whole mouth/saliva thing.

when she learned to do somthing new-

like putting a coin into the piggybank,

i give her a FAT smile, clap my hands

as i say the word 'WWWWWWOW'...

watching her facial expression 

is so so so priceless.

the first thing she signs

in the morning is 'MORE'-

when i ask her if she wants 'mum-mum'

(mien: to eat),

she puts her fist in her mouth.

she seems to understand so much.

lately she loves to play chase...

and i pretend i'm the lion.

i think she has four eyes,

but two of them on her ears

doesn't work very well

because she runs into walls all the time.

when i ask her what sound

does a monkey make?

she wiggles her body

like a worm.

she loves to dance

to songs with beats...

like apple bottom jeans

or pumped up kicks

that korean song aunty KOY

likes to turn on with her iphone

whenever she's over..

and the only english words are the chorus

is ELMO.

almost everywhere she goes.
